Are you over it?

In my late 20’s, I was totally over it. I had been dieting for what seemed like my entire life, with absolutely nothing to show for it, except a wardrobe full of clothes in different sizes and a massive diet book collection.

I was discouraged. I had just regained all the weight from a previous diet, and after telling myself day after day that I would “be good and start tomorrow” - I wondered if there was something wrong with me.

Why couldn’t I just start tomorrow?

If being thin was the only thing I really, really, REALLY wanted in life, why couldn’t I just count calories like everyone else?

Was I following the wrong diet?

Would I ever find the right one?

Luckily I found a ‘middle ground.’ I figured out that it wasn’t my fault - it was trying to make myself fit into someone else’s idea of what perfect dieting looks like.

I help women get comfortable in the “gray area.”

You know, the area where I might not eat sugar one day, and another day I might have only a few bites, and on another day I might eat an ice cream Sunday - and it’s all okay!!!

Sustainable weight loss means figuring out sustainable eating and lifestyle habits. That can be difficult after years of following the “shoulds” of other gurus and experts out there.
